Executive Manager
A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced health professional to fill the position of Executive Manager, Population Health Services Department. This position is based in Broome.
The Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services Council (KAMSC) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service which provides centralized support for a collective of 4 independent member services, as well as being the direct clinical service provider for 5 remote community clinics from beach to desert
across the vast, spectacular Kimberley region of WA This is a rare chance to join the Executive Team and contribute to the ongoing development and consolidation of a progressive and highly successful regional Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service
The key responsibilities for this position include:
- Strategy -Representing KAMSC in forums requiring Population Health advice and information
- Operations -Oversee planning, organising, implementation and evaluation of Population Health programs as required.
- Financial - Responsible for approved departmental budgets and financial delegations.
- Team - Attract, train and retain the right people for Poplulation Health
The key skills required for this role include:
- Skills and experience at a senior management level
- Commitment to the principles of Aboriginal community control
- Substantial experience in primary health care service delivery;
- Experience in developing and supporting population health systems and programs in a primary health care setting.
