Executive Search Consultant / Financial Recruitment recruitment

Mavens accumulate knowledge and information about the marketplace and know how to share it, when to share it and who to share it with. We are headhunters with a difference and are looking for recent graduates with a knack for selling. No direct experience in financial markets or recruitment is necessary but you will need to display an inquisitive mind and be willing to work hard. In return we offer a true meritocracy and a competitive package as well as access to very senior relationships in capital markets (typically across senior MDs and partners at top Investment Banks). We will provide you with all the tools necessary to turn these into fees for the firm and commission for yourself.

Essential:

- A strong academic background: typically a 1st or 2:1 from a top ten university. We appreciate any subject. Masters degree welcomed

- Ambition and motivation to make money

- Ability to work under pressure

- Real inquisitive mind: this will be thoroughly tested. We are passionate about what we do and need people with a natural talent for enquiry

- Some sales experience or a demonstrable ability to interact with people and build commercial relationships

Preferred:

- Languages (fluent or bilingual). We are interested in Arabic, Chinese, Russian, and any European language is a bonus

- Experience as a relationship manager, broker, private banker or financial analyst could give you a head start as long as you are truly open for change

- Some experience in recruitment or research is appreciated but not necessary

- We really prize international experience and bicultural upbringing
