Executive Search – Researcher recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing names and details of market participants and approaching suitable candidates to write a detailed biography capturing their career history, educational background and revenue generation history
- Assist executive search consultants to prepare client presentations, pitch books and proposals for new mandates
- Attend Client pitches and take detailed notes
- Manage the information and intelligence gathering on financial institutions and market developments.
- Updating the database, organisational charts and profile reports (both from phone conversations and internet research sites)
- Develop an extensive network of Global Markets professionals that can be helpful in providing information to clients
- Coordinating candidate interviews with consultants and client PA’s
Skills you will learn:
- Develop a good understanding of the Commodity Markets as well as gaining an understanding for how the companies which participate in these markets operate (Investment Banks, Trading houses, Hedge Funds, Oil Majors and Utility companies) , their work culture and their internal structures.
- Build and expand your knowledge of financial markets.
- Learn about the human resource industry
- Gain greater understanding of selection criteria, techniques and human resource programs (including interviewing skills)
- Networking skills
- Sales and negotiation skills
- Employment law
- Time management
- Strong presentation skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Smart Draw)
- Use of database (FileFinder) and other research tools (internet, sparkspread news, Bloomberg news, efinancial news)
Potential candidates will need to show evidence of the following:
- A 2:1 or above degree from an established University
- A natural sales ability or a history in Business to Business or Telesales
- Exceptional communication and rapport-building skills
- Ambition and confidence (have the ability to "hit the ground running")
- Teamwork and Problem-solving techniques
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (Not afraid to call senior Investment Bankers)
- Ability to handle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and targets
- Ability to cope with responsibility and high pressure
