Executive – Transaction Support, Financial Services recruitment
At Ernst Young our Financial Services Transaction Support team currently has exciting and challenging opportunities for Executives in London. Our Transaction Support team will offer you genuine opportunities to work on some of the world's highest profile transactions, combined with significant development opportunities to step up and take early responsibility.
Your responsibilities as an Executive - Transaction Support will include:
- Participating in due diligence engagements related to transactions involving both corporate and private equity clients
- Analysing the financial and operational results of companies targeted for sale by reviewing accounting records and participating in interviews with management
- Preparing analyses of historical and pro forma financial information to assess trends and fluctuations that may impact funding requirements and deal valuation
- Performing industry and company research utilising online tools and publicly available information
- Assisting in researching technical accounting issues to evaluate implications on transaction valuation and structuring
- Assisting in preparing reports and schedules for clients and other parties
- Assisting in managing the input of other service lines to the transaction advice.
Qualifications/skills you'll need as an Executive - Transactions Support:
- ACA qualified or equivalent
- Commercial awareness gained through direct experience of the financial services sector (either from within an Audit or Transaction Support role)
- Experience in working with insurance institutions would be a distinct advantage
- Strong academic record
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Strong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas.
