Description:
Exotics Trade Support is a support role to equity trading desks located in HK, Tokyo and Sydney. The proprietary desk covers Asia markets and its product coverage includes Equity, ETD, OTC products and other exotic / structured transactions. The primarily role of trade support is trade capturing. As trade support is the first one to interpret and capture trades into the systems, the job requires him/her to have basic understanding of equity derivatives products, a close relationship with operations staff and have an efficient processing flow.
The position requires a careful, numerate person who can maintain an accurate trading position and risk on a daily basis. The successful candidate should be an enthusiastic learner and a highly self-motivated individual.
Requirements:
• Pro-active, self-starter
• Strong derivative product knowledge, preferably with at least 2 years working in derivative area, or related field
• A strong degree in Mathematics or a related subject
• Ability to communicate effectively with sales, traders and mid/back office support staff
• Strong programming skills (C++, VBA, Java, Access) preferred
