Exotic Equity IPV VP
Global Investment Bank is searching for a strong technical candidate to join their Exotic Equity and Commodities Derivatives desk in London. This role has been created through the previous incumbent moving into a front office role.
Responsibilities:
- Set reserving policy and approve all methodologies.
- Develop reserving methodologies for new products and markets.
- Act as point of contract between model review team, Finance, Market Risk and Front Office for new models.
- Undertake valuation projects relating to risk management, new market developments and new system valuation methodologies.
Requirements:
- Currently working in Exotic Equity Valuations or a technical product control role in this area.
- CFA Qualified or MSc in a mathematical subject.
- Excel VBA Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of Exotic Equity Derivatives products and valuation control concepts.
It is very important that you have very strong interpersonal skills as you will be interacting with the front office on a daily basis. There are very realistic opportunities for career progression into more technical roles including front office positions.
