Exotics Middle Office – Associate – Investment Banking recruitment

My client is one of the worlds leading investment banks and is looking for a Vice President to join the Exotics Middle Office.
The group is fast evolving with a significant change management agenda, specifically focusing on the delivery of target state architecture and significant control environment improvements. The product set is made up of various structured and exotics products primarily with Commodity Index, Sifts, Metals Oil and Gas underlining's.
Tasks:

Management of the three areas that support the Investor Projects/Single Asset business
Drive the Target State Architecture delivery and ensure that the operational considerations are embedded within the system
Primary control over the accurate capture and validation of the business transactions in the Risk Management Systems
Monitoring and management of trade lifecycle events
Deal Review of Legal Documentation against Risk bookings
Liaison with multiple marketing Support, Middle Offices, Back Office teams
To take full ownership of issues with appropriate escalation and resolution
To Train and coach both junior colleagues to the Requirement5red standards ensuring all individuals have detailed training plans with regular updates on progress
To ensure that team members have a strong Control focus and can demonstrate this
Skills:
Trade support middle office experience from an Exotics background
Strong Change Management skills
Strong Derivative product knowledge, quantitative finance knowledge, including product types, payoff profiles and understanding of the Greeks
Understanding of risk types - Mark (positions), operational, settlement, credit, legal and reputational
Graduate calibre
Analytical and problem solving skills
Pro-activity in identifying control gaps ensuring clear and precise action plans are in place
Has a continuous focus on process improvement/process engineering
Has an in-depth understanding of individual functions comprising the business their in-dependencies and the overall end to end environment
Ability to communicate effectively across the organisation, both orally and in writing
Assertive and confident disposition, able to deal with all levels of personnel in Operations and Front Office
Demonstrates negotiation and influencing skills
Team orientation skills to manage interaction with diverse groups internally and externally
