Experience Statistician, Long Term Care recruitment
Primary responsibilities include:
(1) Prepare monthly and quarterly product experience presentations and financial close reports to senior leadership team;
(2) Leverage the Actuarial experience system and external data sources to develop new metrics to measure, monitor, and control emerging product risks;
(3) Assist with preparation and development of annual in force projection assumptions;
(4) Continuously enhance and maintain internal data reporting platforms;
(5) Support new product introductions through experience analytics and integration of product modifications into experience system.
Basic Candidate Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in statistics, mathematics, finance, or Actuarial Sciences
Solid foundation of insurance knowledge
Sound problem solving and analytical skills
Experience with manipulating complex data structures for business critical applications
Preferred Candidate Qualifications:
LTC Experience
Excellent communication skills at all levels
Experience using SQL, SAS, Visual Basic, Business Objects, Access or related software tools
