European Energy A/S is a Danish based company that operates within the entire value chain of renewable energy, from the development of green field on‐shore wind and solar PV energy projects, the construction and operation thereof, to the repowering and partial sell‐off to financial partners such as institutional and private investors. We have currently installed renewable energy projects in Germany, Spain, Bulgaria and Italy for an investment value of more than DKK 3 billion. Consolidated revenue for 2010 reached DKK 440 million. For our HQ in Copenhagen, we are looking for an Experienced Accountant. As accountant, you will be working in our Group Finance department and be part of the Finance Consolidation Accounting team. You will become part of a dynamic and engaged environment where you will work closely with a team of international colleagues that have a varied professional background. We expect that you work independently and follow your tasks from start to finish. As a person you have a strong personal drive and handle your areas of responsibility with a systematic and structural approach. You work proactively and strive by taking the lead when solving any task within your area of responsibilities. In addition you will have the chance to learn and evolve in an international company, which is unique in the field of renewable energy.

Responsibilities and tasks
Your areas of responsibility will e.g. include general accounting tasks such as handling payables, receivables, payments, reconciliations, travel reports etc. Further you will be responsible for the financial part of the day-to-day operation and administration of the power producing entities in Spain. Your tasks and responsibilities will be defined and developed in collaboration with the Head of Group Consolidation and Accounting. It is crucial that you have a strong understanding and knowledge within all aspects of bookkeeping and accounting and that you have the experience and ability to work with Dynamics NAV or similar ERP system. The tasks and responsibilities require that you master both written and verbal English and Spanish.

Qualifications:

•                                        Relevant economical education is expected

•                                        Minimum of 5 years of professional experience within an
international group finance department

•                                        Experienced user of Dynamic NAV or similar ERP system

•                                        Ability to prioritize, work in structured manner, focus on
quality and keep deadlines

•                                        You have an in-depth understanding of all aspects of
the bookkeeping function

•                                        Proficiency in both written and verbal English and
Spanish is a requirement
