We are currently seeking to recruit talented individuals at the experienced Analyst level to work with our Restructuring and Mergers Acquisition teams in Chicago.

Macquarie Capital brings a unique approach to the restructuring business combining experience in advising both debtors and creditors as well as focusing on opportunities to put capital to work. We are expanding the restructuring practice in New York and Chicago. Macquarie brings over 30 years experience in restructuring and corporate advisory services to corporations and creditors dealing with stress, distress and bankruptcy.
To be successful, as an experienced Analyst or 1st year Associate, you will:
- Have at least1 year of relevant experience in Commerical Banking, Investment Banking, Hedge Funds or Private Equity
- Have previous experience in restructuring, M A, leverage finance and/or debt capital markets
- Possess strong modeling and financial statement analysis skills including a good understanding of commonly used valuation techniques
- Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication abilities and the ability to work with people at all levels
- Have strong time management skills - be able to effectively juggle multiple, competing priorities
- Be able to work in an open, fast-paced environment, possess strong attention to detail and a hard-working, can-do attitude
- Be ambitious, motivated, entrepreneurial, and have the desire to succeed
- Have prior experience working with standard Investment Banking databases (i.e. Bloomberg, CapitalIQ, LCD, Debtwire etc.)
- Experience managing people is a plus
