Key accountabilities:
As a member of IMC Financial Markets in Chicago, your primary responsibilities will be:
- Take broker calls and make markets throughout the day
- Initiate flow in the broker market to lay off risk
- Trade Index products with a tight knit team of traders
- Communication between desk and floor (via chat) – relay information, monitor and log floor trades
- Trade checking – check accuracy of all broker trades (desk and floor).
- Build relationships with brokers
Qualifications:
- Experience trading in Index Products (preferrably SPX or VIX)
- Proficiency with computers – Microsoft Office basics, Excel
- Quick and decisive thinking a must
- Ability to act and perform successfully in a fast-moving and high-pressure environment

Key Accountabilities
As a member of IMC Financial Markets in Chicago, your primary responsibilities will be:
• Take broker calls and make educated markets throughout the day
• Researching new market opportunities and analyzing current market trends
• Trading SPX according to employee’s growth, together with a tight knit team of traders
• Building relationships with business contacts, including but not limited to brokers
• Communicating via telephone continuously throughout the day - will take around 200-300 calls/day
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
• Experience trading in SPX preferably, or at minimum floor trading or experience taking broker shows upstairs
• Proficiency with computers – Microsoft Office basics, Excel skills highly preferred
