Experienced Commodity / Fuel Trader – Successful Company – North England STRONG BASE, BONUS and BENEFITS recruitment
My client, based in the North of England, is looking for a physical commodity trader, ideally with experience in Coal and Oil to join the team and report directly to the Head of the group.
The successful candidate will be responsible for international and national trades - from origination, execution and contract management.
Key responsibilities include:
• Optimising value from existing and newly creating contacts within the industry
• Working alongside the successful physical fuel trading team to support hedging strategies
• Working with Analytics to manage valuations, forecasts, position and trading reports
The successful candidate will have:
• Experience in Commodity trading (Oil/Coal preferred but no essential..)
• Understanding of Fuel markets, logistics, the importance of Fuel quality and trading principles
• Strong communication and negotiations skills
• Microsoft IT skills
