Experienced Commodity Trader, Asia, Hong Kong recruitment
They are looking to expand their trading desk and are looking for an experienced individual to trade Iron Ore/Steel/Coal in the relevant markets.
They are looking for someone with extensive commodity knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Trading of physical iron ore/steel/coal products to maximize trading revenues
- Increase and continue to deliver services to customers and suppliers. Be aware of new products and the market trend.
- Strengthen the sales efforts through the current market and new markets.
- Develop new business opportunities and strengthen current relationships and potential customers to obtain length contracts and to get exclusivity with suppliers.
Skill requirements:
- 5+ years experience
- Experience in physical commodity trading covering iron ore/steel/coal
- Transferable contacts within the industry (++ advantage)
- Have a proven trading track record
- Be willing to be based in the Hong Kong
