Our client is a leading independent firm and they are looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Assistant to their growing tax team.
Acting under the supervision of a tax senior, you will be dealing with the tax returns of clients in your portfolio, undertaking work delegated by other staff in the tax department and dealing with administrative matters as required. It is also likely that you will be involved in some or all of the following during your training: Tax returns for medium net worth clients, non-professional partnerships and company directors; Client contact only with senior present; Communication with third parties by telephone and standard letter; Straightforward P35/P14; Grant forms; Total income computations; CGT/Taper; IFP. You will be using a system called Taxpoint SA.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate who has already gained some experience in corporate tax with another accountancy firm. This role comes with full study support for ATT/CTA but previous practical exposure to corporate tax is essential.
