Experienced Energy Originator / Marketer recruitment
Deliverables:
• Reporting into the Head of Sales, this individual will enhance the client franchise, through existing external relationships and developing new revenue streams.
• Develop relationships with corporate producers / consumers / physical counterparties across EMEA.
• Market vanilla / structured OTC derivative hedging solutions / structured physical deals.
• Work closely with internal structuring to develop bespoke physical / financial trades.
• Individual will be expected to generate revenues of $5 - $10mn/yr.
• Assist and add input to senior level/strategic external client pitches.
Experience:
- Developed new relationships with energy counterparties, across the EMEA region.
- Demonstrable track record of increasing commodity derivative marketing / physical origination revenues.
- Deep understanding of energy, metals and agricultural commodity markets
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and negotiation skills.
- Experience of commodity price risk management, financial and physical supply/offtake/financing deals.
- Analytical skills / ability to identify and communicate the key drivers across the commodity markets.
- Proven commercial creativity in developing new trade ideas and revenue streams.
- Enhance revenue streams, though internal relationships with finance, banking/MA groups.
- Awareness and understanding of the regulatory, compliance and risk management issues
