I am working with a highly reputable trading house that is expanding their brokerage division and having established a commodities desk they are looking to expand and add experienced proprietary brokers to the team with established client portfolio’s. They are looking for candidates with knowledge of the energy and commodities markets.
Responsibilities for this Position:
- Assist Head of Commodities to establish companies’ presence within the energy brokerage space.
- Initial focus will be across energy, but they are interested in speaking with individuals with metals and agricultural experience.
- Add success and profitability to the team.
- Assist in the expansion of the team going forward by increasing market share in specific markets.
Skills required for the role:
- 4+ years of commodities broking experience
- A book of transferable clients
- Proprietary Trading experience
- Willing to be located in Chicago.
