Experienced Institutional Salesperson / AE recruitment
Must have a portable book of execution or clearing business that can be immediately be brought on board. A basic salary and benefits package along with a bonus/commission based on business brought in to the firm is planned.
Primary Responsibilities
- Institutional sales – especially American based institutions such as FCMs, IBs, CTAs, PTG, Hedge Funds and Professional Traders interested in US and Asian futures exchanges.
- Account management and account opening process for customers brought in.
- Input on marketing.
- Input on pricing/promotion.
- Other depending on the person experience.
Background/Competencies Desired
- Proven Sales Experience.
- Trading or operational experience a plus but not a replacement for sales experience.
- Candidates without sales experience and/or existing book of business will not be considered.
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in finance or related field desired but not required.
- Record of working for and with “clean” firms/clients in a regulatory/compliance sense.
- Proven record of bringing in profitable long term accounts.
- Network of institutional contacts within the US futures market.
- Basic understanding of futures operations and compliance rules related to sales.
- Traits desired in all staff: Absolute integrity, strong sense of ownership, hands-on, solid communication skills, ability to reflect on and learn from mistakes.
