The Gift Network (TGN) is a unique and electrifying company that allows users to create a gift registry consisting of all kinds of gifts from over 100 stores across the GTA. The choices of registries are very limited in Canada and the process can be tedious and frustrating. Our goal is to ensure we provide a registry service that is flexible, simple and fun. The company is growing rapidly and is in need of an experienced .NET Developer.
TGN (www.thegiftnetwork.com) is looking to build the second phase of its technology. We are looking for an intermediate/senior programmer to lead the development of our new technology. We're always thinking big, so you should too!
Job Description
· Analyze, design, prototype, develop, test and support - complete software lifecycle in your hands
· Work with TGN personnel to envision and deliver the required functionality
· Create and enhance a scalable application
· Assess risks and impacts on the existing system as new functions are added
Job Requirements
· Extensive experience in enterprise software development
· .NET Framework 2.0 - 4.0, .NET Web development, including WCF
· C#
· SQL experience; T-SQL desired
· Silverlight 4, WPF are highly desired
· Mobile development skills are beneficial
· Experience working in an agile development environment
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills
· Workforce management domain experience a significant plus
