Experienced Recruitment Consultant – White Collar
Alexander Black is currently urgently looking to hire 3
profiles to join the Banking and Finance division. We are a well-known business
within the Hedge fund and asset management space and especially known as one of
the market leaders in the Quant fund space. We are looking for experienced
consultants who want to join a business that punches well above its own weight
not only in terms of placements but reputation. The current market is strong
enough for us to add a consultant to our BA and Project management team, our
financial technology team and our Risk and compliance team.
We look for people who are looking to and will prosper in an
SME environment where responsibility and autonomy comes quickly to those who
wish it. We work on the principle of developing those who are strong in ability
yet have so far been weaker than they should be in terms of delivery. We will
put you next to some of the best recruiters the market has to offer so that you
can develop from an average biller to that of someone who returns £400k per
year. We have a mature attitude to business as well as personal development,
but do not suffer fools easily.
As a background we
expect candidates to be salespeople. This is not demonstrated by being team
captain of a football team but an innate desire to be successful and do
whatever is necessary to achieve goals. We would expect candidates to have at
least 6 months experience in a
recruitment business and have learned the basics as well as the ability to
deliver. We expect candidates to present themselves well but it is their
motivation to succeed and commercial acumen that will win them a role with
Alexander Black.
Our interview process is quick and effective and easily cuts
the skilled from the chaff. We are looking for candidates who have a real
understanding of commercial business and
how the world really works as well as a desire to sell. We are not looking
for those who have average performace and no desire to do better.
In exchange we have the best commission scheme in the market
and consultants who take home more than £130k per year, we would be more than
happy to send you p60’s to demonstrate so. (20% flat to £40k per month 30% on
anything over and a kicker of 10% on anything over £90k in the quarter, often
achieved)
We offer a market leading basic and are happy to pay for the
best.
