Job Description:

We have a great freelance to definite full time opportunity with a local sporting goods company for an Experienced Retail Strategist and Designer.

This position will design and create the tangible expression of our brand through physical and emotional experiences and positively influencing the customer experience across all retail touch points. Study consumer behavior and develop retail experiences designed to reach our target shopper, create demand for our products and establish brand credibility in the marketplace to accelerate growth.

This is a hybrid position. Most importantly this candidate will be responsible for understanding what drives brand strategies as well as in-store strategies to drive the strategy of the brand.

This candidate will be instrumental in managing the merchandising displays of our client's brand in big box stores, including the setup and visual merchandise.

This is a client-facing position, but there will be no selling involved. This person will also create and manage timelines as well as budgets.

Candidate will design and build renderings of future store setups then work with the internal staff to fulfill these needs.

The candidate must have at least 5 years of retail design/visual merchandising experience, ideally from a sports background or a big box retailer.

The candidate must also have a background in strategy.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in graphic design or visual merchandising as well as a background in business.

Full time benefits include 18 days of paid time off, 5 of which are sick days, health benefits and 401k.
