We are currently working with a substantial Agricultural + Soft Commodities trading house, based in Singapore, who are seeking a very experienced and proven grains trader to join their operations and take a leadership role to significantly increase business activity / volumes. The senior candidate would be responsible for driving sales of Agri-commodities mainly across grains and oilseeds into South East Asia and implanting strategies to increase profitability and trade volumes as well as stewardship for growth. The candidate should have a good global knowledge of this market and should have some key selling experience
· Heavily Experienced Agricultural Commodity Trader
· (Wheat, Barley, Soybeans, Corn, Oilseeds By-Products)
· Range of good industry contacts / manufactures
· Driving Sales into SE Asia
· Have destination management experience
· Strong experience sourcing from the global origins.
· Be willing to be based in Singapore
· Be prepared for travelling to drive business forward.
· Strong Physical Commodity Knowledge
· Marketing, Merchandising, Sales and Purchases from origin
· Good understanding of Global grains market.
· Highly numerate, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build long term sustainable relationships.
· Provide Insight on strategic growth and market opportunities
· Implement strategy and provide mentorship to increase trading volumes.
· Must be a leader with a proven track record.
· Must Speak English, any other global languages are a plus.
· 20-25 + years of Experience
