Experienced Storeperson Job in Clayton 3168, Victoria Australia
Our client is an Australian owned wholesaler of hydraulic components, servicing a broad range of industries across the entire country. They are currently seeking an Experienced Storeperson to join the long-standing team at their head office based in Clayton.
To be considered for this position you must possess the following:
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Stong attention to detail
- A current Forklift Licence (preferred)
- A flexible 'can do' attitude
- The ability to take direction
- The desire to grow within the organisation
- The ability to lift heavy objects on an ongoing basis
- Basic computer skills
- Reliability
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Dispatch - checking goods picked for correct stock numbers and packing goods to ensure safe transit
- Inward goods - including manual unloading of bulk boxes, boxing, checking of quantities received and putting product on the shelf in bin locations
- Picking
- General warehouse duties
- Printing consignment notes and labels
- General cleaning and maintenance
- Following and implementing OHS procedures
