Job description
To assist the Tax Director in all aspects of the in house tax function. This will include:
- Assistance in tax compliance and the management thereof
- Involvement in ad-hoc project work as necessary, this may include projects relating to FATCA , AIFMD and fund structuring
- Assistance in tax reporting including investor reporting queries
- Assistance in tax audits and Fin 48 reviews
- Assistance in transfer pricing analysis and support
- Involvement in transaction planning including liaising with the deal team and service providers and working on Lux tax structuring
- Budget support and cost management
- Be a key member of the tax function for Luxembourg.
Who we are looking for
- Qualified in Tax [Master in Accounting or Tax (MAcc) from the US or a Master in Laws (LLM) from the US would be an asset]
- Good knowledge of tax compliance and accounting principles
- Knowledge of private equity and transaction work
- Demonstrably strong communication and organisational skills
- Fluent in French and English
- Ideally Big 4 background, senior advisor, junior manager level senior associate level from a law firm.
