Experis is looking for an Associate Recruiter in our St. Louis Division! The candidate does not need to have industry experience but a passion to get into the industry is a must!
The Associate Recruiter (AR) is responsible for sourcing, screening, and qualifying candidates according to client specifications. The Associate Recruiter will also search for candidates within a specific technology or with specific skills to build a talent pipelines.
The Associate Recruiter will contact candidates to discuss their experience and availability and enter their information into the company database. The AR should be able to discuss the history/background of the company and the benefits the company offers. They should be able to discuss the various placement options (staffing or permanent placement) and the various pay options (salaried vs. hourly, subcontractors, Independent Contractors).
The Associate Recruiter will also ensure that each consultant who is newly hired goes through the Red Carpet on-boarding process. The AR will complete a 12-month certification program, including modules which will provide clarity on talent resourcing, client/talent engagement, and practical application and review.
• Associate Recruiters are responsible for generating sales leads for their BDM's from their pipelining efforts.
• Work with branch management and staff to develop a client footprint that is appropriate for the market; sources candidates appropriate to develop and maintain a talent network.
• Provides general and varied administrative support to the recruiting team (i.e. formats candidate or consultant resumes, sends brand literature to candidates, assists with preparation for job fairs, creates presentations, ad hoc reports, proposals, correspondence, etc. as needed).
• Reports to work on a timely basis, observes normal work hours (8:00 am to 5:30 pm) or those hours agreed upon that are adequate to support recruiting operations and their initiatives; works overtime as necessary and approved by management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Screens and qualifies candidates according to brand/client standards or footprint specifications before the candidate is transitioned to the appropriate Recruiter. This includes reviewing resumes against skill set and experience requirements, ensuring candidates complete an Employment Application, checking candidate references, coordinating technical assessments, completing background checks and drug screens (when required), and insuring each consultant, upon hire, goes through the Red Carpet orientation program.
• Maintains databases in order to capture candidate/prospect information, sourcing activity, placement information, etc. Records applicant flow information in database, and identifies the disposition reasons for candidates and consultants.
• Prepares new hire paperwork and employment agreements according to negotiated terms.
• 1 to 3 years professional business experience
