Expert Business Analyst – Portfolio Management Job in Brussels 1200, Brussels Belgium

Evaluate requests and analyse needs for new significant project initiatives from an architecture perspective, propose possible solutions, document the feasibility and economic consequences of the proposed alternatives and select the best solution aligned with the IS strategy
Provide direction to the project teams in the modelling of the business needs and validate the design and eventually the implementation of IS-solutions based on the architectural standards and guidelines
Define and document the overall architecture of a solution and the rationale behind the balancing of business, technical and functional constraints in cooperation with other IS architects (software architect, infrastructure architect, …) within a project
Maintain the enterprise architecture repository in your domain, ensuring consistent and complete documentation of the current application landscape
Define, design and maintain architectural standards and guidelines to be able to consistently fulfil current and foreseeable requirements

Compétences requises

You have an university degree or equivalent experience
You have at least 6 years experience in an IS service organization
You have experienced at least 2 complete IT project life cycles
You have knowledge of the business and of the IS solutions, applicable to and used in the "Local Portfolio Management" functional domain. You have typically gained this knowledge in the utilities or in the banking / financial sectors
You have strong analytical skills and have practical experience in business requirement management
You are strong in planning and organizing, facilitating and negotiating
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
You are a team player
You are fluent in English and in Dutch or French, with a good knowledge of the other language. Knowledge of German is an asset
You are open to frequent travelling abroad (Germany and The Netherlands), for approximately 20% of your time
