Expert Java Developer / Development Manager, Automated Market Making / Algo Trading Development recruitment
A leading global investment bank is currently looking for a new lead developer to drive and own the development efforts for a global automated market making team based out of Hong Kong.
Leading a small, yet highly skilled team it is expected that this person will have exceptionally strong Java development / engineering skills and have a demonstrable track record of pushing Java to its limits in terms of performance. On a systems level you must have worked on either an automated Market Making or Algorithmic / Systematic Trading engine and ideally have gone through a number of releases with the same platform.
On a management level this person will not necessarily have any direct reports as of day 1 (this is possible for the right person) – in the short term this will be a leadership. Mentoring type role moving into day-to-day man-management as and when appropriate.
