Design Group Energy Division has partnered with one of Calgarys leading oil gas producers in their quest to secure an Exploitation Engineering Technologist. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, the successful technologist will be supporting the development and management of opportunities in our clients Pembina District. You will have 5 or more years of relevant WCSB oil and gas experience. The ideal candidate will willing to take initiative and is seeking a new challenge and is motivated to develop, grow and learn.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will work in a multi-disciplinary team supporting the development and management of opportunities in the Pembina District. Duties will include:
· Maintain and update technical databases
· Gather, manage and analyze data for production/target tracking of existing production
· Prepare and submit regulatory data, applications documentation to ERCB
· Provide technical support for waterfloods, well and property evaluations, drilling/completion/tie-in requests and monitoring ongoing projects
· Compile progress reports on high profile projects
· Gather and analyze technical and fiscal information for project properties
· Assist with building and tracking annual budgets and reserves reports
· Run economic evaluations and summarize the results
· Calculate waterflood voidage replacement and performance tracking plots
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Ideal candidates will have between 5+ years of Western Canadian oil and gas experience
· Petroleum Technology Diploma is preferred
· Strong interpersonal communication skill is essential and must be able to balance multiple priorities
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Strong knowledge of ERCB regulations
· Ideally, experience/exposure to: Peep, ValNav, OFM, WellView, AFE Navigator Accumap or Geoscout.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
· Previous experience working Pembina properties would be an asset
