Export Finance, German ECA recruitment
The position would fit someone with experience and willingness to handle all aspects of the transaction including origination, structuring and execution within Export Finance.
Also, very importantly the ideal candidate should already have contacts with the German ECA.
This is a small and nascent team, so we are looking for someone that is entrepreneurial, dynamic and willing to get involved in developing this business further.
Main responsibilities will include:
Build and manage relationships with various Export Credit Agencies ("ECA") in Europe, other financial institutions and clients.
Originating, negotiating European ECA backed transactions for funding various existing and targeted clients of the bank on a global basis.
Facilitating the credit process by issuing Product Office support memo and Portfolio Monitoring.
Skills and experience required:
Bachelor Degree in a relevant subject. Post graduate qualification e.g. MBA preferred.
Proven experience in European ECAs (and other developmental financial institutions).
Experience in export finance gained from a commercial bank.
Sound understanding of European ECA financing structures, interaction with ECAs for approvals, legal formalities.
Proven analytical skills; ability to identify and evaluate key issues in complex assignments.
European languages required, especially German.

Articulate, strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence.
Team effectiveness, willingness to share information and knowledge relevant to team members.
Ability and willingness to work under pressure and to a tight deadline.
