Export Sales Manager / Packaging Equipment Job in Manchester, North West Uk

Grow and develop sales within Middle East India.
To be responsible for the management of Agents, Distributors and customers and their satisfaction.
To deliver market intelligence to enable us to better position its products and services.
Support the Agents and Distributors, which will involve travel as necessary.

JOB LOCATION
North West facility but will need to travel as required.

MAIN DUTIES
-Duties/responsibilities (in order of priority)
To locate and develop new Agents and Distributors in Middle East India.
Produce and maintain a strategic plan to grow the Agent and Distributor network
To manage new and existing Agents and Distributors and be responsible for their training, motivations, performance and KPI's
To support house accounts in the area, initiating an action plan to approach and secure new business for the company.
Assist Agents and Distributors on sales calls and participate in regional Exhibitions.
To ensure that sales productivity is high, and costs are acceptable by ensuring resources are planned and used in the optimum manner.
Ensure all sales targets are met and produce regular reports on activity and enquiries in the area.
To provide a monthly forecast for the appropriate regions and manage changes to ensure the continuity of activity such that targets are consistently met.
To monitor, collate and report weekly activity of Agents and Distributors.

Management promotion of the company via media, e-mail campaigns, literature etc
Make frequent customer visits with Agents and Distributors to help close business, monitor development and ensure the proposals offered meet the end customers needs to ensure continued satisfaction.
To liaise with the Sales Director on Sales and Marketing campaigns and other activities to meet allocated targets on products and services.
Ensure that all procedures are followed and systems and database information are kept up to date to ensure continuity of information.
Produce an annual sales and Marketing plan for the region and ensure that all targets therein are met.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCE LEVEL
-Qualifications/education required
Preferably educated to degree standard in a related discipline

-Experience required
Minimum of 4 years experience in selling packaging equipment.
Ideally experience in developing and managing an agent / distributor network.
Preferably having travelled in a previous role, ideally in middle east / india

-Particular aptitude/skill required
Excellent communicator. Professional in manner and appearance. To be fluent Arabic speaker.
