External Affairs Coordinator, China recruitment
This is a high-profile role with senior stakeholder interaction both internally and externally. In addition, it will involve some travel to Hong Kong and mainland China.
Key duties will include:
- Supporting the China Affairs Manager in organising key Chinese events and hospitality
- Coordinating senior level visits and meetings in the UK to enhance relations with key clients
- Monitoring budgets and expenses for large scale events and ensuring that all hospitality and entertainment is in line with group policy
- Consult and support other departments within the bank on China related meetings and functions
To be considered for this position you will need to have:
- Experience of working in public relations/external affairs either in a financial sector company or complex global organisation with a focus on China
- Fluency in Mandarin / Cantonese with superb communication and organisational skills
- A working knowledge and understanding of Chinese culture and affairs
