YOUR OPPORTUNITY
A well regarded Big 4 firm is looking for an External Audit Manager for the Assurance Division. The staff within this division are pooled and the teams are varied according to the client which is being worked on. This allows for all staff to work together at various times and promotes a friendly, relaxed and close knit culture.

YOUR ROLE
As an External Audit Manager within the Assurance division, the strategic purpose of this role is to provide high quality and effective audits for a diverse client base. This will entail investigation and identification of critical areas attributable to the risk profile and performance evaluation of key financial controls.
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:
- Provision of high level audit and accounting knowledge to present clients with business improvement methods and legal implications
- Review engagements in accordance with professional standards, legal and regulatory requirements and the firm’s best practice policies.
- Supervision and delegation of teams to achieve superior services that meet and exceed client expectations
- Direct client contact and interactions with colleagues to ensure effective utilisation of knowledge and resources
- Management and planning of workflow to achieve optimal resource allocation
YOUR BACKGROUND
In order to be successful in attaining this role you must possess the following requirements:
- CA Qualified
- At least 4 years external audit experience
- Management, leadership or training experience
- Superb communication, presentation and business acumen
- Strong analytical and technical accounting ability
- Mining, Financial Services or Retail industry experience is favourable
