The IODC Distribution business within Prudential Investments is responsible for developing, servicing and growing assets under management within the U.S. retirement market. The IODC group focuses primarily on the Defined Contribution (401(k), 457, 403(b), profit sharing plans) segments of the retirement market, providing sales expertise and specialized product support for Prudential Investments and its various money management affiliates and variety of distribution channels.
The successful candidate will work closely with members of the IODC Distribution team as well as other Prudential Investment Associates and direct a broad range of territory specific sales and ongoing client servicing initiatives. General responsibilities include coordination of territory sales and relationship management, communication of investment products and philosophies, delivery of value added marketing presentations and a commitment to understanding the changing retirement markets.
Principal Responsibilities
- Work with Regional Consultants and Internal Wholesalers within the territory to grow Defined Contribution assets under management
- Provide ongoing sales support for key distribution partners and retirement specialists within the territory
- Build relationships with retirement plan producers
- Support home office initiatives and interact with territory based retirement platforms
- Work with internal clients including legal, marketing, compliance and product management to facilitate the expansion of Prudential Investments in the retirement marketplace
- Analyze industry and portfolio data for use in competitive analyses, product positioning and the development of sales tools.

- Existing retirement plan relationships (preferred)
- Thorough understanding of the asset management and defined contribution business
- Series 6 or 7 required (Series 7 preferred)
