Oversee Investment Accounting functions for various types of investment companies. Manage and develop staff to be efficient and knowledgeable Investment Accountants. Develop and satisfactorily maintain current client relationships and assist in development of new client relationships. Assist in the development and implementation of investment fund policies and procedures. Oversee funds and/or functions of moderate to high complexity/volume.

INTERACTIVE COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND INFLUENCE: Influence or motivate individuals or groups who may have different interests and goals. Requires presentation of potentially complex information and views.

WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND INFLUENCE: Write to gain consensus of individuals or groups with potentially conflicting goals. Regularly prepares proposals and formal presentations. Examples of format may exist, but not content.

CLIENT CONTACTS: Maintains effective internal and external contacts. Models good client relations. Anticipates and meets both short and long-term needs of customers. Seeks ways of improving client service orientation.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBLILITY: Manages the employees of a small department or work group of approximately 11-24 people.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBLILITY: Guides the successful completion of moderate projects and may function in a project leadership role.

LEADERSHIP: Aligns goals and activities of a diverse, complex work group or longer-term project with the objectives of a department, function and overall company. Provides direction, sets milestones, allocates responsibility, and drives toward and monitors results. Acts with a sense of urgency. Creates a positive work environment - - teamwork, mutual respect, encouraging change, innovation, and accountability at all levels.

PROBLEM SOLVING: Questions problem definition and re-frames question to address the underlying issues. Must think outside the box to develop creative approaches to problem solving and original solutions.

IMPACT: Decisions direct influence project completion, client relationships and/or expenditures.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE: Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within a professional field. Integrates and evaluates new advancements in the industry to coordinate and contribute to successful business results.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Bachelor's degree Major: Accounting,/Finance, Economics, Business Administration with a minimum of 9 accounting credits.

JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE: A minimum of six years
