Fabric Engineer Job in Chester, North West Uk
An international facilities management company with a proven track record of providing facilities management services including cleaning, catering, pest control, window cleaning, washroom services, Waste Management, security and grounds maintenance to a range of public and private sector organisations, are looking to recruit a Assistant Fabric Engineer to Assist Engineers with PPM's and reactive maintenance calls and breakdowns.
The key elements of the role are:
- Removal of confidential waste paper
- Carry out Pre Planned Maintenance and sign off on time to ensure Service Level Agreements are met.
- Assist engineers with daily reactive calls.
- Carry out monthly ladder inspections.
- Holiday cover for engineers, cover mandatory tasks i.e. sprinklers and water hygiene log book.
- Carry out building tours as per facilities rota and report findings to facilities helpdesk.
- Assist Electrician with facilities office moves, build office furniture as required.
- Maintain internal and external fabric of building.
- Site cover for sickness and holidays i.e. warehouse.
- Maintain rock salt levels for winter gritting.
- Carry out small fabrication works.
The Successful Candidate will:
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience in building/maintenance
- Experience in either electrical or mechanical work
- Full Clean Driving License
