Facets Configuration Analyst Job in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Us
Responsible for maintaining claims system, which may include set-up, database loading, design, testing, and/or implementation.
Under general supervision, works to design, test, and implement complex configuration changes to the claims payment system, complying with change control policies, testing guidelines, and internal and regulatory compliance requirements. Participates in cross-departmental project teams as a subject matter expert. Responsible for analyzing, understanding and translating business needs into business requirements with minimal supervision. Performs analysis necessary to identify viable solution alternatives. Demonstrates proficiency in structured query languages or analysis techniques.
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. At least three years of related experience. Knowledge of CMS requirements. Proficiency with MS Office applications and MS SQL. Understanding of medical terminology. Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and organization skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Requires ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Requirements: Bachelor's degree. QNXT and/or Facets claims experience. Claim processing or Provider Contracting experience. Proficiency with MS SQL. Prior experience testing software and knowledge of system development life cycle and implementation methodologies. Certified Medical Coder.
