Facilitator Job

The Facilitator will supervise employees in a wide range of technical and non-technical areas. In this role, you will coordinate all first line activities (ie. Methods, Production Control) to assure the meeting of production schedules and customer satisfaction, cost goals, and maintaining the highest standards of quality. You will practice sound human relations and communications skills in order to motivate the assigned work force. In this role, you will: Essential Responsibilities - Direct the activities of assigned personnel to achieve desired levels of efficiency and production schedule to meet cost reduction attainment objectives. Review labor efficiency / effectiveness reports, determine causes for variances, and initiate prompt corrective action - Foster sound relationships to meet production objectives. Develop and maintain a positive, respectful work climate with all employees - Perform administrative duties in a timely manner, including timecards, labor vouchers, self-audits, absence reviews, and missing time corrections, etc. - Inform employees of business goals and objectives. Initiate an open communication pattern to promote exchange of information and ideas with employees, peers, and upper management - Previous experience with working in and or with a teaming environment Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelor s Degree from an accredited university or college - Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS : - Ability and willingness to work 2nd - Shift - Ability and willingness to possess or obtain a Powerplant License or Repairman Certificate Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
