Facilities Assistant position at Alamo Ranch Hill Country Retreat in San Antonio, TX.
The Facilities Assistant is responsible for the maintenance of the association’s common property and amenities including the fitness center, pools, common areas, easements, streets, signage, monuments, structures, fences, walls, and common lighting. Duties may include repair/replace building/landscape lighting and fixtures, changing out bulbs, minor carpentry, painting and plumbing repairs as well as light janitorial. The Facilities Assistant must be able to trouble shoot and repair minor electrical problems, perform sprinkler repairs, maintain water heaters, perform maintenance on pool filters/pumps, and ensure that the pool chemicals are at the correct levels. The ideal candidate will be proactive in detecting maintenance needs throughout the property. Additional duties and tasks may be required.
The ideal candidate must have a professional attitude, strong work ethic, be computer literate using Microsoft Office Products, be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted and be able to work unsupervised. We are seeking someone who is well spoken with outstanding customer service skills and a team player attitude. Additional experience in a community association setting is preferred as well as previous experience in facilities and landscape maintenance. Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, perform physical labor, and work nights and weekends and on call when required.
