Facilities Contract Manager – Peterborough – up to £42K

We have a requirement for a commercially astute and customer focussed Facilities Contract Manager to oversee the hard services facilities management operations within a shopping centre environment. The successful applicant will be employed by our client a national maintenance contractor

You will have demonstrable experience of man-management in a customer services environment. It’s a challenging role where you will be personally responsible for the provision of self delivering all hard services including the M E and building fabric.

The key responsibilities for the Facilities Manager will include:

·Provide direct support to the Operations Manager and General Manager and support / deputise in their absence.

·Line management of the mechanical, electrical, air conditioning, fabric services and seniority in relationship with the Customer Service Manager.

·Set and manage operational procedures and processes and continuously review them to ensure best practice.

·Assist in the deliverance of our Corporate Responsibility Objectives and reduce carbon footprint, by setting out strategies and achieving targets for waste reduction, recycling, energy efficiency, water usage, the use of sustainable materials, travel plan and community involvement.

·Ensure effective management of the operational cost to service charge delivering these in line with the business plan

·Assist the Operations Manager and General Manager in monitoring and driving centre performance in line with the business plan

·Ensure high levels of customer service and operational standards are maintained at all times.

·Optimise use of available resources to ensure service and safety across the scheme.

The successful Facilities Contract Manager will have:

·Previous quantifiable experience in the management of engineering and fabric services, in a self delivery capacity.

·A customer focussed attitude and be able to ensure staff members are motivated to provide a high class service at all time

·The ability to forge and develop strong working relationships with all staff, clients and tenants.

·HR knowledge and excellent man management skills

·Excellent communication skills
