Description
- Position requires US Citizenship and a DoD SECRET clearance.
- This position is in Kansas City, MO working with the USMC.
- DoD experience is preferred with knowledge of the Marine Corps desired.
- The Facility Analyst at the EITC is responsible for all aspects of facility planning, including heating/cooling, power, etc. This position will analyze and maintain facility layouts to track the location and configuration of components coming into the EITC. The Facility Analyst must have a deep understanding of heating, cooling and power appliances in order perform facilities impact analyses. This position will also be responsible for generating and analyzing performance reports for the facilities infrastructure components, including power usage and costs, and make recommendations for improvements.
Plans, organizes and evaluates operations of company facilities and equipment to ensure operations meet established guidelines. Reviews and approves all estimates of material and labor costs for routine repairs, replacements, and improvements. Coordinates repair of office equipment such as copy machines and fax machines to ensure smooth operation of company facilities. Oversees complex aspects of general building maintenance, schedules repairs and ensures that potential safety hazards are addressed in a timely manner. Remains current on OSHA and other federal safety standards and inspects buildings to ensure fire-code compliance.
- Maintains inventory of equipment and repairs to equipment. Matches invoices with orders for all equipment and software to ensure accuracy and delivery of resources in a timely manner.
- Determines space requirements to ensure provision of appropriate office space, furniture and equipment for effective facilities operations.
- Identifies contractors and vendors of materials, equipment and supplies. Coordinates with outside contractors and vendors of equipment and supplies to ensure that supplies and equipment are delivered in a timely and cost effective manner. Contacts contractors on equipment repairs such as, carpet repairs/replacements, painting, electrical and/or plumbing work.
- Evaluates cost and quality of services, goods, and supplies to ensure that quality and cost match contract specifications. Manages the negotiation and maintenance of contractor and vendor agreements to ensure that contracts define quality, delivery schedules, pricing, and other terms and conditions.
- Selects and hires employees. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Motivates and rewards employees including providing salary increases, bonuses and promotions within allocated budgets and company guidelines.
- Prepares and recommends operating and personnel budgets for approval. Monitors spending for adherence to budget, recommends variances as necessary.
- Manages all aspects of reconstruction of office space and movement of people to ensure minimal hindrance to business operations. Coordinates with management, contractors and movers during all phases of the move. Reviews and approves initial floor plans for new office space. Supervises and provides specifications for various construction projects.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Previous experience with APC Infrastructure, ISX Central, NetBotz, In Row Cooling (IRC's) and Power Management (PDU's), etc.
- DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration or related field preferred
- Nine or more years of experience in facilities maintenance
- Five or more years of leadership experience included
- Experience working with facilities management and federal and company safety guidelines
- Experience working with operating procedures of facilities and equipment
- Experience working with contract management and negotiation
- Experience working with policies and regulations regarding contracts and legal matters
- Experience working with company facilities and equipment
- May require considerable standing and walking and occasional lifting of supplies
