Position Description
Integration of regional planning activity for Planning and Real Estate Team. This posting supports Northwest Region planning. Positions will support short- and long-term business goals by conducting strategic and tactical planning activities. Uses business plans and projections to forecast use, occupancy, building utilization, space allocation and budgets to manage real property assets and site cost allocations. Integrates short-term and long range facilities plans to meet specific customer and organizational needs plans (e.g., site, office, manufacturing, lab, warehouse) by identifying and developing facilities options to satisfy project objectives (e.g., cost, schedule, location, international real estate markets, conceptual layout, process/people flow) by working with the stakeholders and assessing resources (e.g., assets, space, budget, labor) in order to create the best value for the customer and the company.
Works with headcount projections and business plans to enable forecasting of use and occupancy allocation, capital and expense budgets, building utilization and density for the purpose of managing real property assets. Oversight and use of tools/processes in development of annual International Lease and Facility Plans. Manages projects with varied scope and complexity. Develops schedules, tracks budgets and provides status reviews. Supports projects through use of established project management tools (e.g., web-based tools, procedures).
Participates in and leads teams by using improvement tools and techniques for the purpose of enhancing operational efficiency, product quality, service delivery, and asset utilization (e.g., office and manufacturing, new technology development, special requests, proposal support), gaining insight into the customer's vision and organization. Leads or participates in enterprise wide, regional and/or site facilities studies and master plans for the purpose of assisting the business decision making process in response to Company and organization initiatives (e.g., asset utilization, production rate plans, business plans). Gathers and analyzes data regarding current conditions and future requirements. Interacts with internal and external organizations, senior level management, and government agencies in order to identify and assess impacts to the business operating plan. Prepares business case analysis. Prepares risk analysis and impact statements.

This position involves regular interaction with the Shared Services Group (SSG) executive staff. The work environment can be described as professional and fast paced. The ability to work well in a group setting and respond quickly is critical. International position will require flex work hours as well as utilizing virtual/telecommuting program to support overseas business partners. Some travel may be required. Position will be located in Renton in support of Northwest Region and International.
