Responsibilities:

 

Assist in general maintenance of facility; e.g., replace light bulbs, repair drywall, and painting.

Receive and document incoming deliveries.; e.g., supplies and meals.

Receive, transport, and assemble furniture and equipment.

Package  and document outbound shipments; e.g., equipment  and linen.

Deliver and document delivery of materials to designated areas.

Prepare clinics for studies; e.g., clean restrooms and make beds.

Operate all cleaning equipment; e.g., vacuum cleaner and floor buffer.

Perform general housekeeping of offices, restrooms, and clinic areas; e.g., sweeping, mopping and vacuuming; cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, dusting, and cleaning windows.

 

Qualifications:

 

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as Standard Operating Procedures, safety rules and regulations, and maintenance instructions.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals..

Ability to prepare routine documents and write basic correspondence; e.g., Purchase Orders, Incidents Reports and  security logs

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral and written communication.

Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
