Facility Engineer / Manager recruitment

The role
In this position you will serve as the primary point of contact for Facility Management Services, coordinating maintenance and improvements projects and maintain relationships with property owners, their representatives and external vendors, taking care of preventive, ongoing and anticipated maintenance for all equipment and assets.
You will be expected to take a pro-active approach to dealing with internal management as well as external vendors. We are looking for an energetic individual who is able to multi-task, prioritize and deliver various projects in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage facility maintenance and improvements projects;
- Find competitive vendors and liaise with them to negotiate contracts and maintain vendor relations to ensure that company expectations are met
- Taking care of preventive, ongoing and anticipated maintenance for all equipment and assets;
- Upgrade furniture, utilities, computers, security systems signage for the overall facility;
- Assemble, Install and repair of office peripherals.
- Ensure facilities will meet the needs of multiple individual projects and coordinate with IT staff for technological needs;
- With a potential office move on the horizon, this person needs to have the experience with or the ability to coordinate such a relocation project in cooperation with IT Staff.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in all aspects of facility maintenance.
- Hands-on and the ability to work with power tools and equipment.
- Strong English and Mandarin communication skills
- The ability to manage external vendors on on-time delivery (projects, furniture, etc.)
- Proficiency using computer programs, including MS Office suite.
- Good organisation skills and the ability to prioritize time and responsibilities, manage job duties, tasks, and requests;
- Must be able to exercise sound independent judgment;
- Self starter; highly organized, a motivator and achiever.
- Able to think “out of the box” and determine what is best for the organization’s needs;
- Ability to Multi task and deliver various projects simultaneously in a fast paced work environment.
