This position would serve as a backup to Facility Supervisor at Eastpointe and also support other NoVa facilities as needed with escorting vendors or performing repairs, maintenance and moves. This position will require a hands on, self motivated, results driven individual willing to do a full range of duties within the facilities.

Responsible for the day-to-day facility support functions. Supports facility maintenance, office/workstation moves, supply inventory, minor repairs and organization. May be asked to move furniture and office equipment as necessary and performs many maintenance / facility support duties that could include hanging pictures and bulletin boards, performing small repairs, office moves, asset control/inventory, etc.).

Provides support to mail services area. Maintains kitchen areas on a daily basis. Provides escort assistance for contractor and building management. Assists during facility reallocations and construction.

On occasion this position will be asked to back up the front desk for lunches, sick calls or vacation days as needed as well as support administrative functions within the NoVA Facility Management organization including updating floor plans, sq ftg allocation reporting, tracking all repair/maintenance and move requests, filing and maintaining records related to regularly scheduled preventative maintenance and repair tickets.

Comfortable working with a a variety of people in all levels within our organization including Landlords, maintenance/property management as well as supporting high level executives, high capacity meetings (to include catering/setup/cleanup, AV support, special signage/print copy, adjusting IT equipment.

Requires High School diploma or equivalent, and two to three years of customer service experience, preferably related to facility / maintenance support. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to handle various objects; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or crawl. The employee must also occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more.

Some IT/AV knowledge preferred. A strong customer service mentality with excellent verbal communication skills are desired.

Must have a strong working knowledge of MS Office tools (particularly Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint).
