Factory Accountant/Business Partner
Newly created role to reflect the growth of the Port Talbot site of one of Europe's fastest growing and ambitious niche food manufacturers. As part of a wide transformation programme they are building on the best of having roots in a small family company while also creating more defined processes, clearer roles and greater cross functional collaboration as befits an award-winning international business.
Reporting ultimately to the Group FD but working closely with the Factory Manager you will be responsible for all local finance matters, and provide strong finance support to the Port Talbot factory management - plus have key input to a second factory in England (average travel will be one day a month to England). You will become a Business Partner to both factories, advising and influencing the managers from a finance and commercial perspective. In addition you will support the corporate HQ in reporting, forecasting and budgeting processes; plus be involved in the development of finance systems.
If you are passionate about working for a growth oriented business, are a Graduate CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified with an FMCG manufacturing background, then this could be the exciting opportunity you are looking for.
It is best suited to a hands-on and commercially results focussed accountant - someone who is a flexible team player and can work remotely with minimal supervision - someone who takes a proactive approach to continuous improvement and the initiative and self-confidence to drive things through to completion.
