Highly respected business supplying own label products to an enviable blue-chip retail client base, our client is a large subsidiary of a multi site group with an unrivalled reputation for innovation, product quality and customer service. This dynamic business is led by a passionate commercially focused team, who are now looking to strengthen the Manufacturing Operation with the appointment of a Factory Manager.
Reporting to the Managing Director you will assume overall responsibility for maintaining and improving profitability and manufacturing performance levels across the site. You will be required to drive production whilst initiating and implementing continuous improvement programmes aimed at reducing costs and improving productivity.
A key part of this role will be to consistently monitor and improve the effective use of resource, providing leadership, vision and support to the operations management team, identifying development needs where necessary.
You will already be in a senior production management role within a fast moving responsive production environment, ideally specialising in short shelf life, chilled or bakery products. You will be customer facing and used to working with the major multiples. Above all you will be able to demonstrate change management in a vibrant company culture, impacting on the bottom line through exceptional customer service achievement. Your determination, operational pragmatism and straightforward manner will be rewarded with a highly attractive package.
