Mercy College-New York invites applications for anticipated full-time faculty positions in the following areas beginning September 2011: School of Business, School of Education, School of Health and Natural Sciences, School of Liberal Arts, School of Social and Behavioral Sciences and in the Division of Libraries, Academic Technology and Online Learning; and Freshmen/Junior Seminars. The School of Education is seeking faculty in Literacy, tenure track or multiple year track, rank open. Responsibilities: Teaching literacy foundations and methods courses; examining the processes of reading and language learning from a theoretical and practical perspective; teaching and supervising clinical courses. Preferred start date is September 1, 2011. All positions are 9 month appointments unless noted otherwise, and most require teaching commitments on more than one campus.
