Fair Value Evaluator- International Fixed Income Securities recruitment

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of this position will be to evaluate global fixed income securities, specifically in the European and Asia-Pacific markets, as part of Interactive Data’s Fair Value Information Service. The candidate must possess a solid understanding of global financial markets, and in particular, a conceptual understanding of the market forces impacting security price movements and the determinants of bond valuation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Engage with market participants on various aspects of the model and applicability of the service to suit their business needs.

Building and maintaining a trusting professional relationship with clients, colleagues, and other industry participants.

Understanding the fixed income markets, bond valuation concepts, statistical methods including regression analysis, and applying various methods for evaluation and research purposes.

Responding to time-critical customer inquiries.

Monitoring news and global market conditions.

Maintaining a well organized and clearly documented overview of the evaluation process in accordance with the policies and procedures utilized within the Fair Value Evaluation Group.

Qualifications:

A minimum of three to five years experience in the financial services industry

Knowledge of global financial markets and awareness of market forces

Ability to facilitate superior market participant relationships

Proficient in practical applications of statistical analysis

Excellent interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work under [INVALID-WORD]nt time constraints, multi-task and prioritize workload

Team player with the willingness to take direction from management

Independent self starter, able to sustain productivity

Willingness to work the hours necessary to achieve daily objectives

PC literate, knowledgeable in Microsoft Office

Bachelor degree
