Family Office Accountant recruitment

An Ultra High Net Worth family based in Brig, Switzerland is looking to recruit a qualified accountant to fit into a team of 8. The role covers all facets of accounting but being a small office your duties will vary and change from day to day. 

Responsibilities of the Family Office Accountant include, but are not limited to:

* General Accounting (bookkeeping)

* Reconciling bank accounts and investment holdings to Custodian records

* Reconciling equity and private equity positions

* Liaison with client (internal and external)

* Reporting monthly and weekly

* Ensure electronic filing up to date

* Adhoc analysis of data

* Assisting the COO as and when needed

To be successful in this position you must meet the following criteria:

* Accounting qualification or equivalent

* Must be fluent in English, additional fluency in French, Italian or German will be advantageous

* Extensive experience in an accountant position, ideally within a family office environment or trust company, however not essential

* Effective team player and be able to work on your own initiative.

* Highly flexible and adaptable to any number of different tasks, an ability to multitask and deliver on numerous projects in tandem.

* Attention to detail

* Excellent Excel and general IT knowledge
