Fast Growing Private Equity Firm Seeks Financial Accountant
Our client is a global private equity firm. An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious part qualified accountant to join the finance team.
Your core responsibilities in this diverse role will span over management and statutory reporting and also working closely with the company’s ledgers. You will be responsible for assisting with the financial control for the UK entity which will include preparing the quarterly VAT returns and assisting with the annual corporation tax returns. You will also use your analytical skill set to provide the end of quarter management reporting journals for key senior management. Within the role you will also be required to prepare the financial accounts in order to be audited and follow this process by continually liaising with the auditors throughout.
Another side to this role as previously mentioned will be working with the companies ledgers. You will be providing quarterly updates and reviews of the SUN account ledgers for 4 of the companies UK entities. This will involve assisting with the journals, invoices, payments posting and expense analysis. You may also be required to provide holiday cover for the Purchase Ledger Controller when necessary.
In order to apply for this role you must be part qualified in either ACCA/CIMA and have previous experience of Management Accounting and Statutory Reporting. It is also key that you have prior Financial Services experience to be considered for this role.
