The FATCA Analyst role ensures new clients across Investment Banking, Private Banking and Asset Management divisions adhere to the regulatory framework as set our under the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act and CS policies and procedures. There is a need to perform a co-ordination role across the EMEA region as well as with those business divisions operating within London and sharing new information on these guidelines and Credit Suisse's interpretation as they become embedded within policies, procedures and technology tools

Your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- Strong AML skills
- Intermediate/Advanced IT skills specifically within the Microsoft Office suite. If this knowledge also includes the designing and building of databases this would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills with a proven track record in managing projects on a regional basis and where multiple stakeholders exist
- Good presentation and training skills. If these have been gained whilst working within a Compliance related function and/or within a financial services firm that would be preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure, able to deliver to deadlines and work independently of day-to-day management
- "A"" level qualified - degree preferred
Your main responsibilities will involve:
The London CID Team are looking for a FATCA Project Specialist to assist with the implementation and roll out for the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act within the EMEA region. Key functions will be to:
• co-ordinate and implement the Compliance components of the FATCA Act in conjunction with Tax, Legal, Operations and IT
• provide coverage for FATCA Compliance through the "hotline" and clarify its impact across the region and to our policies, procedures and technology tools
• understand the implications of the regulatory changes specifically to the client identification and AML teams across the region and recommend solutions that cover process, technology and resources
• ensure full and transparent organisational and project reporting exists for all key deliverables
• creation of a comprehensive training programme that could operate across multiple layers of the organisation and business divisions confirming the requirements of FATCA and the implications to the business operations and client base-
• Cross training programme will be provided on all components of the FATCA role.
